Shandong UNITY Robotics announces the successful handover and stable operation of a custom automated packaging line for a food processing customer in Saudi Arabia. This turnkey solution includes carton forming, loading, sealing, labeling, conveying and stacking, seamlessly connecting with the customer’s existing fruit and vegetable processing workflow. It marks another key project of UNITY’s packaging automation solutions in the Middle East market.

Custom Packaging Solution Adapted to Local Production Needs

The Saudi customer produces fresh produce and frozen berries for local retail and Gulf export. Previously relying on manual packaging, the client faced unstable quality and high labour costs. They required an automatic packaging line suitable for high-temperature workshops, compliant with GSO, Halal food standards.

Our engineering team tailored the layout and configuration to support multiple carton sizes and fast changeover. Built with food-grade materials, the line is equipped with safety light curtains and remote diagnosis functions to guarantee stable continuous operation.

FAT, On-site Commissioning & Acceptance

After design confirmation, manufacturing and FAT at our factory, the equipment was shipped to Saudi Arabia. Our technicians completed on-site installation, commissioning and operator training. Continuous running tests verified packing speed, sealing performance and labelling accuracy.

The line hit the designed throughput, greatly cutting manual work. The customer confirmed that packaging consistency, hygienic structure and reliability meet their long-term export requirements.

Full-cycle Support Beyond Equipment Supply

A qualified automation system covers mechanical design, control programming, training and after-sales service. UNITY delivered layout planning, equipment manufacturing, operation manuals, on-site training and long-term technical support.

During commissioning, both teams discussed high-temperature protection, daily cleaning, maintenance plans and quick switch between different product SKUs. All adjustments were made based on real on-site production conditions.

Long-term Cooperation for Middle East Clients

Equipment delivery is just the start of our partnership. We provide remote troubleshooting, spare parts supply and regular operation follow-up to minimise downtime during harvest and export peaks.
